I disabled the “allow full access” in the settings and downloaded the GIF keyboard app. Just updated to 15.2 and have the same problem. This will make fix the emoticons button crash but you won’t be able to access GIFs. – Go to Settings -> Keyboard -> Keyboards -> Gboard -> Turn off Allow full access There is a workaround to fix the emoji button crash in iOS.
